Managing payouts: two options
When you click Manage payouts, a modal opens with two possible workflows:
Option 1: Manual entry
Best when you want full control or do not have scoreboard screenshots.
Option 2: AI analysis
Upload one or more scoreboard screenshots and let the AI detect players and kills automatically.
Manual payout entry
How it works
- Click Manual entry
- Choose a player
- Select one or more payout types
Kill payout
- Enter the number of kills
- Choose whether the player won or lost
- The amount is calculated automatically
Bonus
- Enter a bonus amount
- Optionally add a reason such as
MVP
Penalty
- Enter the penalty amount
- Add the reason
Tip: You can create multiple payout types for the same player in a single pass.
- Save the entry
- Repeat for the remaining players
Manual entry pros and cons
Advantages
- Full control over every amount
- Works without Pro
- No screenshot quality dependency
Disadvantages
- Slower for large events
- You have to count kills yourself
AI screenshot analysis
The AI can detect kills from scoreboard screenshots automatically.
Requirements
Pro subscription required: AI screenshot analysis is only available with an active Pro plan.
- Active Pro subscription
- Clear scoreboard screenshots
- Up to 3 attempts per event
Step-by-step AI flow
1. Prepare screenshots
- Capture the full scoreboard
- For large scoreboards, scroll and take multiple screenshots
- Make sure names and kill counts are readable
2. Start the upload
- Click Analyze with AI
- The analysis modal opens
3. Upload images
- Select files or drag them into the upload area
- You can upload multiple screenshots
- The AI merges overlapping scoreboards automatically
Multiple screenshots? That is fine. Duplicate players are usually merged so you only handle each person once.
4. Confirm privacy
- Accept the checkbox before analysis starts
- Screenshots are used only for the analysis and then removed
5. Start analysis
- Click Start analysis
- Wait while the AI processes the screenshots
- Follow the progress indicator
Reviewing AI results
After the analysis you see:
- The detected event result
- A player list with names and kills
- A matching status for each player
Match status
Green
- Player matched automatically
- No manual work required
Yellow
- Name was detected, but the system needs your help to match it
- Choose the correct player manually or skip
Red
- The name or kill amount could not be read correctly
- Edit it manually
Adjusting results
Correct kills or names
- Click the pencil icon
- Edit the name or kill count
- Save the change
Match a player manually
- Click Choose player
- Pick the correct player from the list
- Or skip if the person should not be included
Change the event result
The detected Won / Lost status can be edited before payouts are created.
Creating payouts
When everything looks correct:
- Click Create payouts
- EventMate creates the kill payouts automatically
- A confirmation appears
The payouts are now in the payout list and can be marked as paid.
Common AI issues
”No players detected”
Usually caused by unreadable screenshots. Capture the scoreboard again with better quality and full visibility.
”Player not found”
The name was recognized, but no matching player profile exists. Choose the player manually or verify that the player is registered.
”Attempts used up”
Each event has a limited number of AI attempts. Switch to manual entry if you have exhausted them.
Tips for better results
For screenshots
- Use high resolution
- Capture the full scoreboard
- Avoid dark scenes or overlays
- Take screenshots immediately after the event
For the workflow
- Use AI for large events
- Use manual entry for small events
- Review every result before creating payouts
- Mark payouts as paid right after processing
Best practice: Handle payouts directly after the event so nothing piles up.
